Diyala Journal of Engineering Sciences (DJES) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal founded in 2008. DJES is a quarterly journal published by the University of Diyala – College of Engineering and serves researchers and practitioners in academic and industrial communities.

DJES publishes high-quality scholarly work within the engineering sciences. The journal is not restricted to a single engineering discipline; rather, it welcomes regular submissions within its declared aims and scope, including civil, chemical, electrical, electronics, computer, mechanical, and materials engineering. While DJES encourages a broad spectrum of contributions in engineering sciences, its core interest lies in issues related to materials modeling and material/structural response. Interdisciplinary articles that fall within the journal’s engineering scope are particularly welcome.

The journal publishes research articles, review articles, and case studies. It seeks original research based on theoretical, experimental, numerical, or applied work that addresses clear research gaps and contributes to current engineering knowledge. DJES does not publish special issues, thematic issues, or selected papers from conferences.

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts submitted to DJES are subject to plagiarism and similarity checks and to the journal’s double-blind peer-review process. Submissions are accepted only in English.
